OCR: Strrrrrrrange BITS! Page 75 The young girl had been sent to the United States to attend college. Also it was a means to keep her safe in war torn Europe. She lived at the sorority house for Jewish girls. The year, 1940. Then word came from Germany and the young girl was told her parents had been killed in one of the German concentration camps. So distraught by the news and over- come with grief the young girl hung herself. Today, 53 years later, the young girl still lives at the house. Today it is a the place for Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. The members of the fraternity don't find the girl's presence that peaceful however. The room the girl reportedly hanged herself was room 310. She tied a rope to a radiator then threw herself out the one large window in the room. One frat brother had an embarrassing experience in this room. He went out to take a shower and when he returned his roommate left the room, so he could dress. He had come back only in a towel and once his roommate left he took the towel off and he suddenly heard a girl giggle. He searched the room, he found nothing. He had wrapped the towel around him once again. Now he removed the towel again. Again there was another giggle. Again he searched the room and found nothing. He called out to his roommate, but his roommate obviously didn't hear him. He was certain someone was playing a trick on him. But when his roommate did return he was assured no joke
